Wardrobe item details help Stylist understand and filter a piece. The current item editor supports freeform Tags, a Details field, suggested tags, and Laundry Status.
Open and update an item
- Open Wardrobe and select the item card.
- Add a tag in Tags, remove an outdated tag, or select a suggested tag to accept it.
- Update Details with concise garment information that is useful when reviewing the item.
- Set Laundry Status to Clean, In Use, or Dirty.
- Close the item after the update is reflected in the details.

Know which fields are editable
The item editor does not currently provide separate manual controls for category, color, pattern, material, fit, or styling notes. Tags and Details are the editable text fields on the wardrobe item.
Saved outfit notes are separate. Open the outfit in Saved when you want to add notes about a complete look rather than a single garment.
If the wardrobe is read-only
At or above the current plan’s wardrobe limit, FVLBI can make item updates and Laundry Status read-only. New uploads are also blocked. Existing items and photos remain in the wardrobe.
Remove enough items to move below the current limit, or choose a plan with a larger limit. Editing becomes available again after the account and wardrobe count update.
If an update does not remain
Reload Wardrobe and open the same item. Contact support if a saved tag, Details change, or Laundry Status repeatedly returns to the old value while the wardrobe is below its limit. Include the item name and approximate time.
