Laundry status and reminders

Mark wardrobe items Clean, In Use, or Dirty so Stylist can avoid unavailable pieces. Learn how reminders work, when an In Use item may return to Clean, and what disabling reminders changes.

Laundry status tells FVLBI which wardrobe pieces are available for suggestions. It does not track a washing machine or confirm that an item has physically been cleaned.

Choose the right item status

  • Clean means the item is available for Stylist suggestions.
  • In Use means the item is temporarily held out of new Stylist suggestions.
  • Dirty means the item remains unavailable until you change its status.

Change a status in Wardrobe

  1. Open Wardrobe and select the item.
  2. Find Laundry Status in the item details.
  3. Select Clean, In Use, or Dirty.
  4. Close the details, then return to Stylist when you want a suggestion based on the updated availability.

Open Wardrobe to update an item.

Understand Laundry Reminders

Settings includes a Laundry Reminders toggle under notifications. Browser or device notification permission may be required before that toggle can be changed.

When Laundry Reminders is enabled, an In Use item with an older last-worn date may return to Clean after seven days. A Dirty item does not return to Clean automatically.

Turning Laundry Reminders off does not mark every item Clean. Existing Clean, In Use, and Dirty values remain until you change them.

Open Settings to review Laundry Reminders.

If Stylist omits an item

Open the item and confirm its status is Clean, the item is fully processed, and the category is correct. Contact support if a Clean, approved item never appears among eligible alternatives.
